Gal-Som Fishing Company, established in 2022, is a fully Somali-owned private enterprise specialized in the fishing industry, deeply rooted in the coastal town of Hobyo. Since its establishment, the company has become one of the most reliable and recognized seafood providers in Central Somalia.

Our goal is to provide sustainable seafood solutions that support food security, job creation, and economic empowerment in Galmudug—particularly in the coastal and inland communities of Hobyo, Galkacyo, Dhusamareeb, Guriceel, Adado, and Abduwak. We strive to uplift both disadvantaged and prosperous segments of the population through responsible investments in the fishing sector.

Our mission is to deliver high-quality, fresh seafood products by utilizing modern fishing methods, proper cold chain logistics, and efficient distribution channels. We are committed to supporting both public and private institutions with reliable seafood supplies across urban and rural parts of Galmudug.
